I have had great care from the Hand Therapy Team at Epsom over the last seven months. All of the physios gave me good advice and lots of encouragement in a calm, kindly supportive manner. All the different aids they suggested helped to get my hand back to normal function again. I can't praise them enough and there is nothing they could have done better. I am grateful to have been in their care.

Had trauma therapy at Epsom after a wrist brake and surgery. Vanessa was my therapist, but before she even started she wanted to know how my attitude had been affected and that was the first step towards my recovery. She has been a veritable rock, everything was explained thoroughly , various implements were recommended and, at times, made to measure, to the point that my functions were doubled, I`m not 100% yet, but I know that if I still follow everything she suggested I will get there! Thank you Vanessa for everything, you got me better inside and out and thanks to Epsom General for the way this department is run and staffed!!!

I found everyone was very helpful and gave great suggestions on my hand therapy and how to cope with discomfort while my hand healed.I sometimes felt as though I hadn’t made much progress but they were very encouraging and helped me to be positive.I saw Vanessa who started my therapy then Sam took over both of them listened and gave practical advice.I am now pain free and able to use my hand.Thank you and carry on the good work. I must admit the unit is very busy and I couldn’t always get the appointment that was requested by the therapist but as I don’t work finding an appointment wasn’t too bad but may be some may find it difficult to fit it into their schedule.

I received excellent care from Vanessa in the Hand Therapy team, after I broke both wrist in a cycling crash. I got an appointment 3 days after being discharged from Royal Surrey and I convinced the commencement of therapy so early was key to my smooth and progressive recovery. I had a range of therapies, which helped with all stages of recovery. Plenty of good advice along the way too. Excellent local service and I'm very grateful for the care received.

This was my second fracture. The first occurred whilst abroad and when I visited Epsom on my return I was replastered and only given some listed exercises.

I have received excellent treatment and advice from Vanessa throughout my time under her care. I had a number to call if I had any queries and on the one occasion I needed to get some additional advice, between appointments, I was called back within half an hour of leaving a message. I cannot think of any way the service I received could be improved. Thank you.

Lucy was thorough with her treatment plan for me and very caring / understanding of the sometimes complex issues presented in my wrist and hand. She was dedicated to ensure the best treatment so that I regained mobility in my wrist and hand as quickly as possible.
